When We Are Gone

Part of life is understanding that at one point, we will die. Death is part of life. Technology and social media can really challenge our existence. The things we do have an impact, a lasting impact. Our blog posts, tweets, photos, and videos we create will far exceed our lives. They will live on long after we are gone. What does that mean?

The idea that your life lessons, experiences, ideas, and thoughts can live on is something that’s very new to many people. Most of the content created currently can allow us to remember and learn from those who pass or have passed. A constant source of education is now possible. Social media and its many available tools have made us almost immortal. What type of legacy do you want to leave? Who do you want to leave it to?

This post was highly inspired by aTED talk by Adam Osttrow. You can read more about the talk and watch the video.
