Twitter: Be Personal

This past weekend, my wife and I went to Bloomington, MN to visit IKEA and Mall of America. Our wedding anniversary is October, 18th. A Tuesday trip just didn’t have the same appeal as a weekend getaway.

After taking a picture with my iPhone of my IKEA lunch and sending it out on Seesmic, I got a surprising and  personal message from @IKEATwinCities. It got me thinking, taking Twitter to another level by being lightly personal.

We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge those @IKEATwinCities. Thank you for being proactive and personal. Nice work!
