Dallas J. Moore- CCO and CEO
Dallas has over eight years of marketing, sales, and promotion experience, as well as over two years of branding and social media experience. He founded Social Republick in October, 2009 after his role of Branding Specialist at another Marketing and Web Strategy consulting company. Dallas is passionate about building and creating community, empowering others to channel their inner creativity, and loves connecting with others with related professional and personal experiences.
Dallas has been invited to speak at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) several times about creative marketing and social media. He graduated from DMACC in 2005 with degrees in Marketing and Management. While attending DMACC he and his team created ‘Balls in the Halls’, a miniature golf course that ran for its fifth year in 2009. This project helped create awareness for The Heart Connection, which benefits children living with caner. He was also nominated as ‘Leader of Tomorrow’ by the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce. He will return and earn his Bachelors Degree, but has not decided where he plans to graduate from.
In 2009 Dallas organized The Des Moines Zombie Walk to create awareness for homelessness in Des Moines. Over 100 people came together to join in a five mile walk through downtown Des Moines. All the clothing, hygiene products, and medicine were donated to Central Iowa Shelter & Services. In 2010 The Second Annual Des Moines Zombie Walk too place. Over 325 people joined to walk through downtown Des Moines, again to raise awareness for homelessness in Des Moines. As it appears, plans for the 2011 walk should bring attendance to almost 500.
